1. I wish I’d have known you all when I was being bullied.

Remember when I made this post talking about my scars and bullying and whatnot? Today in this new year, it just exploded again and now has over 300 notes, with reblogs filled with words of encouragement and love. You are all so amazing. So sweet and kind and wonderful and it brings a tear to my eye to see how my testimony is affecting everyone. You all have no idea how much your words mean to me. How much they would have meant to me all those years ago. If I’d have known then what I know now, things would have played out so much differently. This community gives me hope for a brighter future and a better tomorrow for others that are like what I once was. I wish I could hug every single one of you.

May this new year bring joy and change to the world for the better! :D Thank you all for all your support.<3

    Your friend,

    ~Ariel

  3. Sorry for the wait anon, life got in the way a bit XP. Either way, this is the only picture I have ever taken of what my scars look like bare with no make-up covering them up and in the right light to see them in. It has been 5 years since I got most of these, and so they have slowly faded (which I am grateful for). Still, I am happy I have them, as they remind me where I have come from and what I have overcome. The pain that comes with facial scars does ebb away in time anon. They just become a part of your every day life just like your fingers and your toes. Whatever caused your scars, anon, know you aren’t alone. We are fighting our hardships together on glorious eagle wings! :) I love you my dear, and if you ever want to talk, you can privately message me at any time. We are in this together!
From your sister and friend,
Ariel
PS. Sorry for the bad photo quality… this was why I outlined them in the first place haha! >_</

  4. What do your scars look like when they're not outlined, if you're comfortable sharing? I am just getting used to my facial scars.
